How the non-runner list works
All horses declared as non-runners for today's Britain and Ireland racing appear here, grouped by meeting in first race order. For every entry, you'll see the off time, course, saddlecloth number and horse, plus the reason and the declaration time for the withdrawal. Any Rule 4 deduction announced so far is also listed. Above each meeting's rows, you'll find the going and the time of the report.
For both British and Irish entries, the declared reason and the moment of the withdrawal are shown. Every time shown is UK time, so GMT applies now and BST from the end of March. The line at the top tells you when the list last changed. The list refreshes itself every 60 seconds while the page is open.
In Britain, trainers declare non-runners to Weatherbys, and a declaration can't be cancelled once it's made. A self-certified horse cannot race again in Britain for six days. A vet's certificate rules out a return for just two (BHA non-runner rules). Rule 4 takes a cut from your winnings if you took a price before the horse withdrew. The withdrawn horse's odds decide the amount: 5p in the pound between 10/1 and 14/1, rising to 90p at 1/9, with no deduction over 14/1. You can see the full scale on the Rule 4 page.
